Dr. Rae Valentine, DVM, graduated from CU-Boulder in 1983 with a degree in Environmental, Population and Organismic Biology, then graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She moved to Colorado from Illinois in 1979.
She owned her own veterinary practice for 8 yrs prior to coming to work at Banfield and really enjoys the emergency medical cases that she sees at the North Denver location

Dr. Rae Valentine has a horse, Prism, a cat, Peggy-O, and Tennessee Jed, a Bernese mountain dog. She competes in hunter/jumper horse shows with Prism, and enjoys showing her dog at all breed AKC dog shows. She enjoys skiing, camping, horse riding, and plays on a billiards 8 ball league weekly.
