Dr. Sam Grossberg graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary
Medicine in 2016. His background cultivated a passion for animals as he grew up
with dogs and cats and traveled with his family to many of our nation’s National
Parks from a young age, marveling at nature and wildlife. Dr. Grossberg is an
advocate of the One Health approach to life and medicine that recognizes the
inextricable links between animal, human, and environmental health which is why
he completed his Masters in Public Health degree during his DVM training.
Dr. Grossberg attended the University of Wisconsin – Madison for undergrad where he
studied wildlife and conservation. His special interests in the field of veterinary
medicine include preventative medicine, surgery, geriatric/senior care, behavior,
and international medicine. He has previously been on veterinary trips to South
Africa and India.
